01Nyet Lee: Thank God for having 9 Christian students to participate in Project Serve 2 Training in Malacca Ministry. During these three months, they had the opportunity to share the gospel with secondary school students. Because some of the non-Christian students are yet to complete the follow-up lesson, therefore, the staff will take over the follow-up work. Please pray for the transition process and pray that these students are still interested in knowing God.
02Yick Ken: Thank God that the Evangelistic Program, “Escape 180” that happened on 25/3 has ended. A total of 85 non-Christians heard the gospel that day. After calling them, there are currently 2 non-Christian students who still believe in Christ and 14 non-Christian students wanted to know more about Jesus Christ. Pray that these students are willing to meet us to know who Jesus is and what He has done for us.
03Kok Siang: Please pray for the follow up work after this evangelistic event, “Escape 180”. Pray that God will help us to grasp the opportunity to encourage and mobilize more Christians to join with us in youth evangelism.
04Hui Ling: Thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve in MYFC. I believe that this experience will help me in the future. April is another new beginning for me. It is my first time to work in a non- Christian institution after I became a Christian. May God lead me.
05Sy Wei: Thank God that the Project Serve 2 Training which lasted for 3 months is over. A total of 7 Christian students have actually completed the training. They were Qi Le, En Hong, Dan Hong, Rong Zhe, Jia Xuan, Felicia and Melissa. While there other four were completed partially - Joan stopped after the second week, because his grandpa was admitted to the hospital and he needed to take care of his Grandpa. Shawn chose to participate part time because he needed to prepare himself to join National Service in Singapore. After Mayvienne got the SPM result, her mother did not allow her to continue to serve because of she was unsatisfied with her result. Julyta stopped in the last week due to the course that she was enrolled. Regardless of the situation of these students face, please continue to pray for their lives and hope that they will have a good relationship with God and continue to serve God wherever they go.
06Melisa Bong (Mal Project Serve 2 student): Please continue to pray for my next step in study that I will be clear with what I want to study and make the right decision.
07Wee Shyan: Please pray for the creative evangelistic training in JB on April 11-12. It is confirmed that there are three training sessions for Christian students, volunteers and a church. Ask God to help the Christians to learn and apply it in their daily life and church ministry effectively.
08En Hong (Mal Project Serve 2 student): “Project Serve 2” training has ended. Pray that God helps me to apply what I have learned, whether in church, school, or anywhere, as well as to live a Christ-centre life to influence other people. In addition, I also thank God for his grace that I got good results in SPM. I look forward to my future and I commit it onto the Lord. Pray that God leads and helps me to make the right choice. And also pray that God prepares a university and course that suit me, so that I continue my studies.
09Rong Ze (Mal Project Serve 2 student): "Project Serve 2" has ended, but it is also a beginning for me. This three months of training and serving, I learned so much about the Bible, the history of the churches, theology, the skills of doing evangelism work, the principle of doing work, and most importantly, the life and value that a disciple should hold. Pray that God helps me and gives me the wisdom to know how to apply what I have learnt in church and to practice it in my life. In the future, I might encounter all kinds of sufferings and temptations, pray that God continue to look after me, so that I can stick to my faith, beliefs and principles.
10Jia Xuan (Mal Project Serve 2 student): Thank God for giving me the opportunity to participate in "Project Serve 2" training. Through these three months, I have learned a lot, not only have a better foundation in God’s Word, but I also learned the principles, responsibilities and courage of being a Christian. In addition, I also thank God for letting me to know more Christians in these three months and learning about the church history. Thank God for his leading, so that I can get good results in SPM and to honour the name of God. Pray that God continue to look after me and open the way for my direction. Please pray for my direction and physical health.
11Felicia Bong (Mal Project Serve 2 student): Thank God also for answering my prayer for my STPM results. And right now, please continue to pray for God’s guidance and favour upon my application and acceptance to the public government university.
12Mei Yann: I thank God for the non-Christian student, En Tong that I am following up. After she finished the four lessons of "Discover Journey", she could not make a decision whether to become a Christian or not, but she still wants to know more about Jesus. Pray that God helps me to know how to follow up her so that she can know Jesus better through the Scripture.
13Xiao Xuan (Johor Project Serve 2 student): Please pray for Tan Xiao Xuan, the student that I am following up. She has already finished the "Discovery Journey". She wants to be a Christian, but she needs to ask her parents for permission. She asks the Lord to lead her to communicate well with her parents. Pray for me that God leads me to know how to continue to help her to know more about God.
14Chai Lin (KL Project Serve 2 student): Please pray for my further study and pray that God helps me to enter the ideal university.
15Please pray for the YFC staff as we are having Staff Meeting in Kuala Lumpur from 15-17/4. Pray that the Lord helps us in our discussion on how to enhance the youth work in various regions.
16Qi Le (Mal Project Serve 2 student): Pray for me that God will guide the road ahead of me and God to be with me whether I am in the good or bad situation. "Project Serve 2" has ended. Pray that God to look after me that I will work harder to know more about God. Thank God that I am satisfied with my SPM result. However, I do not know what my interests are and what discipline I want to study until now, so I feel very confused. Pray that God will lead the way ahead, helping me to have the wisdom to choose my path - whether to enter college or to study Form 6. Pray for the guidance from God that I will make the right choice.
17Xi Ming (Johor Project Serve 2 student): Please pray for the students that I am following up with. Starting from April, I will continue to join the ministry as a volunteer and complete my follow-up work. There are four students left with the last lesson of the "Discovery Journey" now. They are Wei Long, Jun Ming, Ze Sen, and Justin. Please pray for them
18Jia Yun: Thank God that in the past, we had a School Ministry Christian Gathering at Desa Jaya. Three Christian students attended – Ying Shan, Joanne and Jun Wei. Pray for them as they are currently having bible study with me. Pray that I can spend time to build relationship with them and help them to know Jesus Christ.
19Dan Hong (Mal Project Serve 2 student): After completing the three-month "Project Serve 2" training, I will continue to pursue my interest in designing and find a teacher to teach me. Pray that God will strengthen me so that I will have the confidence to do everything and grant me wisdom so that I can live a holy life. Also pray for my family that I can continue to share the gospel to them, so that my family can accept the Lord Jesus. I hope that after leaving "Project Serve 2" training, I can continue to learn to share the gospel and keep in touch with students. Please pray for me too as I am looking for a job that meets God’s will.
20Dorcas (Johor Project Serve 2 student): Pray that God gives me the wisdom to do my part in “Next Station 10”, that I can do my best in the food & beverage department and to manage and arrange things accordingly. Please also pray for my family’s health, because of the recent air pollution, making them uncomfortable. Pray that God heals my family.
21May Kuan: Please pray for the school ministry in SMK BSD 2. Hui Qing, Hui Ting, Khar Jian, Jia Qi, Jia Wei, Jia Yu will meet up for prayer meetings. Starting from April, I hope that we can reach to some non-Christian students or Christian through these Christian students, so that we can mobilize and influence these Christian students to do personal evangelism with their friends.
22Jia Yun: Thank God for this Christian student, Zi Xiang. He recently started to participate in school ministry and do contact work with me. Pray that he can continue to grow.
23Kok Siang: I am struggling on how to continue the ministry in KL and worried about where to look for people to take over and oversee different departments in ministry. But I also felt comfort and grateful when I saw some of the students had grown up and become matured. Some of them joined YFC before, now there are volunteers – Hilary, Alex, Choi Yee, Jui Ying. Pray that God will continue to guide them and strengthen their faith in the word of God and grow sturdily.
24Bee Bee: Please pray for my health, because I have been having migraine and nausea. Pray that God will heal me and let me to have a healthy body to serve Him.
25Xi Ming (Johor Project Serve 2 student): Please pray for me as I am joining the National Service either in May or July. If I joined in May, I would not be able to help in the “Next Station 10”. Pray that God leads me regardless of when I will go for the National Service.
26May Kuan: Please pray for Hui Qing, Hui Ting, Yong Jian, Jia Qi, Jia Wei, Jia Hao that they have the desire to pursue God's word and are willing to learn to pray and preach the gospel.
27Yick Ken: KL YFC is facing some challenges. Starting from April, there are only three staff (Kok Siang, May Kuan and I) left in KL. Therefore, we will need to continue to mobilize more volunteers and students to participate in our ministry and to have more full-time staff to join us. Please pray for our ministry in the KL YFC that we will keep mobilizing Christians to preach the gospel for the Lord.
28Bee Bee: Please pray for "Next Station 10". I am the person in charge of this program. Pray that God gives me the wisdom to supervise different departments, to communicate well with each other, and to know what I have to do. Please also pray for the group leaders and helpers we need.
29Kok Siang: Please pray for our next plan in the ministry. Due to our manpower shortage, we decided to focus on Kepong Schools Ministry. Currently May Kuan and I will work on 2 secondary schools each, while Kenny will work on another one as his main role is admin in YFC. Pray that God will grant us the wisdom and perseverance to plan and develop the school ministry.
30Wei Wen (KL Project Serve 2 student): Please pray for my application for university and my future life. May God leads my future and makes me a vessel of His delight. Although I do not know what the future will be, I still follow the Lord closely.
